Cover Your Vehicle. Stay Compliant.
Vehicle insurance protects you against financial loss from accidents, theft and damage involving your vehicle, and against your liability to third parties. A valid third-party liability policy is mandatory for vehicles used on Indian roads under the Motor Vehicles Act.
Types of Cover
- Third-Party Liability — Covers your legal liability for injury, death or property damage to a third party. This cover is mandatory.
- Comprehensive — Third-party cover plus own-damage cover for accidents, theft, fire and natural calamities, as per the policy.
- Standalone Own-Damage — Own-damage cover for vehicles that already have a valid third-party policy, where permitted.
- Add-On Covers — Options such as zero depreciation, engine protection and roadside assistance, subject to the terms.
What to Check
- The Insured Declared Value (IDV), which is your vehicle's insured value
- No Claim Bonus (NCB) rules and how it is carried forward
- Exclusions and deductibles
- The cashless garage network
- Timely renewal, as a lapse can mean no cover and loss of NCB
How VALUE ADDITION Helps
We help you compare policies and add-ons, understand the terms, and facilitate the purchase and timely renewal of your vehicle insurance.
Important note
Insurance is the subject matter of solicitation. Benefits, premiums, exclusions and claim settlement are governed by the terms and conditions of the policy issued by the insurer. Please read the policy document carefully before buying. This page is general information, not insurance advice.
